The Vittorio Viviani Free Academy of Painting, in collaboration with the Municipal Administration of Nova Milanese, promotes the 20th edition of the Vittorio Viviani Prize, which will takes place from September 8th until September 29th 2018.
The 2018 edition will see the shortlisted artists and those invited by three curators (Irene Sofia Comi, Rossella Farinotti and Simona Squadrito).
Furthermore, this year’s edition will feature the special contribution of a Berlin artist invited by the Bice Bugatti Club, thanks to the non-profit association’s collaboration with the Verein Berliner Künstler of Berlin.
Selection held by: Alessandro Savelli (academy director), Mariagrazia Tocchetti (Art Director), Christian Zecchin (architect), Ruggero Asnago (illustrator and artist), D’aietti Rosaria (ARCI executive member).
The shortlisted artist are: Davide Allieri, Elisa Filomena, Francesco Malutta, Giulio Catelli, Filippo Cristini, Aldo Lurgo, Claudio Corfone, Marco La Rocca, Sabine Scheneider, Fabio Brambilla, Silvia Brambilla, Claudia Cabras, Elia Canale, Maurizio SD Cattaneo, Jacopo Dimastrogiovanni, Nicoletta Ferrari, Gabriele Ionfrida, Michele Liparesi, Eleonora Monguzzi, Riccardo Sala, Oriella Tivelli, Vittorio Venturini, Federica Zianni, Andrea Zuppa.
Various artistic techniques are allowed: painting, engraving, watercolor, drawing, sculpture. The selected works will be included in the catalog, which will be available online on the official website.
During the inauguration, all the selected artworks will be exhibited and the winner of the XX edition will be announced.
